Results

After one-week of application of the Diabetic Wound Hydrogel, the wound was fully closed.

Conclusion

This case demonstrates the successful wound healing effects of a plant-based supercharged hydrogel in a chronic wound that was refractory to other popular treatments. Considering the crucial role of cytokine dysregulation in various pathological conditions, including but not limited to diabetic ulcers, the discovery of new therapies with anti-inflammatory properties is of great importance.
