Lavior Diabetic Wound Hydrogel is made for minor wounds on diabetic skin, such as cuts, scrapes and skin irritation, including the skin around CGM sites. It keeps a wound moist, covered and protected. A foot ulcer, or any wound on the feet, should be checked by your podiatrist or wound care team, who will choose the right dressing for it.
An antibiotic ointment contains antibiotics. Lavior Diabetic Wound Hydrogel contains none. It is a plant-based gel that keeps a minor wound moist, covered and protected, and it is free from steroids, parabens and fragrance.
Gently clean the area, apply a thin layer, and cover with a dressing if needed. Reapply when you change the dressing, or as your doctor directs.
