His journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University at Chicago, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. A natural leader, Dr. Urbin honed his surgical skills through residencies at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Burn Surgery Fellowship at Stroger Hospital of Cook County.

Dr. Urbin’s commitment to excellence is reflected in his numerous certifications, including ACLS, ATLS, and board certifications in Wound Management and Wound Healing. His active involvement in professional organizations like the American Medical Association and the American Burn Association underscores his dedication to advancing the field.

Throughout his career, Dr. Urbin has held prestigious positions, including Fellow at Stroger Hospital, Staff Resource Physician at Weiss Memorial Hospital, and currently serving as Wound and Burn Physician and CEO at North Shore Wound Center and Integrative Wellness Clinic. His leadership extends beyond his own practice, as he also serves as Medical Director of Wound Services at Kindred Hospitals and Medical Director of Clinical Operations at Vax Concierge. Additionally, he is affiliated with Thorek Memorial Hospital and West Suburban Hospital in Chicago.
