Dr. Cole has been a practicing wound care physician for over 23 years and is an Adjunct Professor and Director of Wound Care Research at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Cole is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Wound Management. She is an active member of the APMA and OHFAMA. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. Dr. Cole has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and is an recognized expert and international speaker on wound management. She also provides frequent expert commentary to Podiatry Management, Today’s Wound Clinic, and Podiatry Today.
