Successful Treatment of Traumatic Wound in the Lower Extremity Using a Botanical Supercharged Wound Care Hydrogel- A Case Report

Results
After 3 weeks of treatment with supercharged hydrogel, the wound was fully closed with swelling no longer present.
Conclusion
This patient case demonstrates the successful wound healing effects of a plant-based supercharged hydrogel in a chronic wound that was refractory to other popular treatments. Considering the crucial role of cytokine dysregulation plays a crucial role in various pathological conditions, including but not limited to diabetic ulcers, the discovery of plant-derived compounds with potential anti-inflammatory properties is of great importance.
